Our Fleet
Formed in 1978, Red Top Taxi has been serving the Guelph area for over 30 years. While we started with just 5 cars on Macdonell St. in downtown Guelph, our fleet has grown so much over the years that we've had to relocate, first to Surrey St., and finally in 2013 we settled into our current home at 78 Lewis Rd.
Red Top Taxi has a fleet of over 50 vehicles, including 4-passenger sedans, 7-passenger vans and wheelchair accessible mobility vans. Our number one priority at Red Top is the safety and well-being of our drivers and customers, which means all of our vehicles are routinely inspected and must meet rigorous safety standards.
Sedans
Our fleet of 4-passenger sedans come in all shapes and sizes, including Toyotas, Fords, Chevrolets, Kias, and more. While 10 years ago you could have expected a Red Top Taxi to be a big, gas guzzling beast, these days you're more likely to see a fuel-efficient model, like a Toyota Prius or Camry Hybrid. This has the benefit of saving us on fuel costs, as well as reducing our carbon footprint and contribution to climate change.
Mobility
Red Top Taxi currently operates 6 fully accessible mobility vehicles. These vans operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are specialized for meeting the needs of customers requiring wheelchair access.
7 Passenger Vans
Our 7 passenger vans are perfect for any group outing. And since they cost the same as a traditional taxi, they provide great bang for your buck when traveling in large numbers!
